Crown Prince briefed on success stories of Naour Vocational Training Centre graduates

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on Thursday was briefed on the success stories of graduates of the Naour Vocational Training Centre, after they received vocational and practical training that qualified them to start income-generating projects and enter the labour market.

During a conversation with some students, Crown Prince Al Hussein was briefed on the programmes and training courses they have received to enhance their technical and practical skills.

His Royal Highness stressed the importance of vocational training institutions in providing youth with quality training and skills, enhancing their abilities to enter the labour market.

The Crown Prince toured a number of workshops at the centre, which opened in 2012 and has graduated 760 young men and women.

Some of the success stories included a women’s beauty salon, an auto electric maintenance garage, and an initiative to raise awareness on advanced first aid.

Centre Director Raed Hammad said the training programmes on offer have enabled many of the institute’s graduates to find jobs in interior design, auto electricity, and secretarial work.
